He rose from the dead in the same body, though glorified, in which he lived and died. Men and women were originally created in God's image, but they disobeyed God and thus separated from their Creator. Human nature is imperfect, and, apart from Christ, man is totally unable to please God. It is the privilege of all those who ask God for salvation to be born again and thus be assured of their salvat
ion from the moment they trust Christ as their Savior. This assurance is not based on any action on their part, but by God's action. Every believer is called to live a life that is in the process of being consistent with the likeness of God. This is possible only through the Holy Spirit, who strengthens the believer, so it will resist temptation and overcome sin sinner for God's glory. Jesus Christ will return to Earth. We believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ's imminent return, the resurrection of His people to everlasting life, and Case unbelieving world to eternal punishment.
